Welcome to the SAAAC High School Experience
The years between Grade 8 and Grade 9 are a pivotal time of
transition and discovery. At SAAAC High School, we focus on providing a secure,
stimulating, and supportive environment where students can navigate this phase
successfully. Our goal is to foster well-rounded individuals with a strong
foundation in academics, character, and leadership, preparing them for the
specialized rigour of the FET phase.
Our Senior Phase curriculum is designed to give students broad
exposure to all learning areas before they make critical subject choices in
Grade 9.
- Holistic
Curriculum: We adhere strictly to the CAPS curriculum while supplementing
with subjects that promote critical thinking, digital literacy, and
creative expression.
- Skill
Development: Emphasis is placed on developing essential study habits,
research skills, and time management—the pillars of academic success in
later years.
- Pastoral
Care: Every student is assigned a mentor/tutor who provides individual
guidance, monitors well-being, and facilitates communication between home
and school.
